This Privacy Policy explains how the GeoStamp mobile application ("GeoStamp", the "App", "we", "us") handles information. GeoStamp is provided by RIGPA Tech Private Limited ("we"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Our approach

GeoStamp is designed to run entirely on your device. Its purpose is to capture photos with the address, GPS coordinates, and date and time stamped directly onto the image, so the photo carries its own proof of place. To do this, the App uses your device's camera and location — but that information is processed locally, on your phone, and is not transmitted to us or to any third party by the App.

2. Information the App uses

The App accesses the following on your device, only while you are using the relevant feature:

Camera

Used to take photos. Images are created and saved on your device.

Location (precise / GPS)

Used to determine the address and coordinates that are stamped onto your photo and shown in the viewfinder. Your location is used on the device at the moment of capture and is not sent to us.

Photos / device storage

Used to save your stamped photos and to display them within the App's gallery. Your photo library remains under your control through your device's operating system.

Address look-up

To turn GPS coordinates into a readable street address, the App uses the Flutter geocoding package, which relies on your device operating system's own geocoding service (provided by Apple on iOS and Google on Android). For the sole purpose of resolving an address, your device may pass the coordinates to that platform provider, which processes them under its own privacy terms. We do not receive, see, or store this information. If you prefer not to use address look-up, turning off the location permission will disable it.

3. Information we collect

We do not collect, store, transmit, or have access to your photos, your location, or any personal information. GeoStamp does not require you to create an account or provide your name, email address, or any other identifying details to use the App.

4. How your information is stored

All photos you capture, along with their stamped location details and any optional logo you add, are stored locally on your device. You can view, manage, and delete them at any time using the App and your device's photo tools. If you delete the App, data held only within the App is removed according to your operating system's normal behaviour; photos you have saved to your device gallery remain until you delete them yourself.

5. When you share a photo

When you choose to share a photo — for example by email, messaging, or another app — you are sending the image to a destination you select. Because the location details are stamped into the image itself, that information travels with the photo. Once a photo leaves your device, its handling is governed by the app, service, or recipient you sent it to, not by us. Please share responsibly, as shared photos reveal the location where they were taken.

6. Permissions and your control

The App only requests the camera and location permissions needed to work. You can review or withdraw these permissions at any time in your device settings:

• iOS: Settings → GeoStamp → Camera / Location
• Android: Settings → Apps → GeoStamp → Permissions

If you turn off the location permission, the App can still take photos but will not be able to stamp them with your location.

7. Third-party services

GeoStamp does not include third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking software, and does not send your data to third-party services, other than the operating-system address look-up described in section 2.

Note that the app stores through which you download GeoStamp (Apple App Store, Google Play) may collect certain information under their own privacy policies, independently of the App.

8. Children's privacy

GeoStamp is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect any information from children. Because the App does not collect personal information at all, it holds no such data. If you believe a child has used the App in a way that concerns you, please contact us.

9. Data security

Because your data stays on your device, its security depends primarily on your device's own protections (such as your passcode, biometrics, and operating-system security). We recommend keeping your device secured and your software up to date.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), or India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP). Because GeoStamp does not collect or hold your personal information, there is no personal data on our side to access, correct, export, or delete. You remain in full control of the photos and location data stored on your own device and can delete them at any time. If you have questions about your rights, contact us using the details below.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — for example, if the App's features change. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide notice within the App or on this page. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
